Nothing says vacation like a romper. They are so effortless and comfortable. I partnered with Matter for this post to highlight their print-centric line of travel-wear. With a drawstring waist and an open design back, this romper has become a beach chic staple in my wardrobe. Working with artisans in India, Matter brings to life their mission to create a textile network of artisans that supply to designers. Slow style, design and production are in Matter's DNA and help guide a limited collection of timeless designs that are quality made. I so appreciate brands like Matter, who are operating on a level of commitment I can get behind, while supplying pieces I feel great wearing from a style perspective.

And speaking of great brands, Seek Wander Share also hits the mark with their ethically made accessories, like the Pom Pom Basket featured in this post. Everything is better with a pom pom, don't you think?!

Chemical sunscreens are pretty much a super toxic cocktail of ingredients (including PABA and oxybenzone) that can at best irritate skin and at worst disrupt your hormones. Sure, they rub in nicely and don't leave any white residue, but the fact that they sink into your skin and then literally absorb the sun's UVA and UVB rays leaves me feeling uneasy.

So, as you can probably tell by now, I am a fan of physical sunscreens. Physical sunscreens are mineral based and use zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide to create a layer that sits on your skin and blocks harmful rays. I will admit, some leave you look pretty pasty, but we've come a long way and there are better formulas out there that do the job without making you look like Snow White. Here are a few of my favorites:
