When I think of iconic style, Jackie Onassis always comes to mind. She had such a natural ease in the way she looked chic and pulled together, but never overdone. Her style is classic and timeless, but I thought this look may have transcended time and hints at a more modern and edgy Jackie O. One who lives in Venice, CA and mixes sensibility (the warm cashmere sweater) with a bit of the grit (distressed jeans) from her surrounding environment. Or, maybe she is rolling over in her grave at the thought of this outfit! Either way, this look was perfect for this cool weather we have been having in California.
ECO OUTFIT: CROP TOP
The crop top is still a style staple and has become a wardrobe favorite of mine. Styling it can be tricky, but when done right looks super cool and very chic. In the little video tutorial below, I'll show you how to style the crop top with proportions in check and help to give you a little inspiration on how to make this look work for you. Leave a comment below on how you are styling your crop top. I would love to hear!
As always, many thanks to Lindsay Linton for helping to film and photograph this project! xx
ECO OUTFIT: CHIC LEGGINGS LOOK
The legging trend isn't going anywhere any time soon, so we best embrace their comfort and learn how to style 'em. I, for one, do love the legging. Yet, there are some ground rules for making a legging an acceptable item of clothing to be worn outside of the house and the yoga studio. The key is to pair leggings with a top that hits low enough to cover your bum, wear them with boots, and add a chic topper like a blazer or a cropped motto jacket. Check out the quick video tutorial below on how to bring the chic legging look together! Oh- and I had a little help from my friend Jack... very important for the cuteness factor of this shoot!
Many thanks to Lindsay Linton for collaborating on this with me. xx
ECO OUTFIT: WIDE LEG TROUSERS
I love a good tutorial and so decided to put together a few standby outfits with a fun video to help show you how to get the look! This is the first of these outfit videos (the others will air in the weeks to come). I hope you like it and please leave feedback below in the comments to let me know what other outfits, beauty trends, etc you'd like to see me share. xx

ECO OUTFIT: CABIN FEVER
Coming back to my hometown, Jackson Hole, has been more thrilling than I ever could have imagined. Not only am I again enjoying the spectacular views and wonderful ways in which we play outside, I came back to a new startup scene! There are so many talented people doing such amazing things. A friend of mine started a juice company calledThicker Than Water. Another friend is working on a book. And, I was introduced to Aion Headwear, a brand headquartered in Jackson designing mountain/ surf town headwear and clothing. Pulling from their new collection, I fell in love with this slouchy beanie and poncho! For an extra cozy feel, I layered a couple of scarves over my shoulder to add even more dimension. Many thanks again to Lindsay Linton for collaborating on this shoot with me! These pictures truly capture a Jackson Girl in her element!
