I love finding separates that are so comfortable yet well designed you can dress them up or down. In this case I went for a super laid back look perfect for a beachside gathering. If you don't own a pair of culottes by now, it is time to invest, my friend! They are so comfy and can go from a Saturday morning stroll at the local Farmer's Market to an evening event with a heel and a blazer.

Both the top and culottes from this look are by LA-based label St. Roche. St. Roche prides themselves on capturing a blend of English eccentric, Cali cool and NYC minimalist. Mission accomplished. Plus, they've built into their brand DNA some amazing social and environmental initiatives by committing to ethical labor practices in their LA and India based manufacturing, as well as using sustainable fibers and GOTS certified organic cotton. Best of all, their designs are really cute and really wearable.

When Lot 2545 reached out to collaborate I was so impressed by what they do and the jewelry they create. Lot 2545 is based in Kampala, Uganda and helps to get teenage boys off the streets and into a safe space where they can heal and create a future. Alongside local women in the community, these boys work using recycled pieces of paper to create beads and craft jewelry. I'm always so touched by organizations set up to bring real change to people's live and share beautiful designs as a by-product. Well done Lot 2545!
